System Repairs
Sewage systems like all other product holding vessels and
mechanical systems need periodic maintenance and sometimes repair. Stated below are some of the more common faults. They are:
• Blocked pipe between tank and property – pressure jet pipe. With extreme blockages CCTV pipe to view inside of pipe and cause.
• Blocked pipe between tank and soak-a-way - With extreme blockages CCTV pipe to view inside of pipe and cause.
• Soak-a-way blocked causing odour – Replace soak-a-way.
• Soak-a-way blocked causing localized flooding – Replace soak-a-way.
• Tank back filling (tank filling with ground water immediately after empty) – tank holed. Inspect tank internally and repair or replace. Tanks
leaking effluent into surrounding land and/or watercourse can render the owner/occupier liable to prosecution.
• Bio-disc stops – Electrical fault or drive chain failure.
• Mini treatment plant pump failure – Electrical fault or pump inoperative.
